Platform Operations Engineer – Oracle

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Oracle CPU/CSPU patching, including pre-patch assessment, planning, staging, deployment, validation, and stabilization.
• Support Oracle OHS, WebLogic/ADF, Forms & Reports, Oracle Database 19c, Data Guard, OEM 13c, and Pro*C environments.
• Perform Oracle Home, database, and OEM backups and ensure rollback/recovery readiness.
• Manage Data Guard patching and switchover activities.
• Validate services, database health, connectivity, Data Guard, redo transport, synchronization, listener, and OEM agent communications.
• Provide post-patch stabilization and issue resolution support.
• Review and remediate Vulnerability Assessment (VA) findings, including validation, remediation, testing, and audit evidence.
• Work within formal Change, Release, and Configuration Management processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware 14c+ and Oracle Database 19c/Data Guard.
• Experience with:Oracle HTTP ServerWebLogic Server / ADFForms & ReportsOracle Database administration & patchingOEMPro*C
• Proven experience with Oracle CPU patching for mission-critical production systems with minimal/no downtime.
• Strong knowledge of backup, rollback, recovery, and Data Guard switchover.
• Experience in enterprise-scale or regulated environments.
