Software Engineer (C++) (Ref 26495)

Responsibilities

• Analysis, design, development and implementation of C++/VC++/MFC projects in the field of biometrics, identity management and security control.

• The senior developer will also have the opportunity to work with device drivers or SDKs of image capturing hardware devices. The developed software will be deployed in a highly available and scalable environment.

• Successful applicants can expect to work in fast paced environment with dynamic project teams.

• The Senior Developer will be a critical member of the team responsible for the delivery of technology solutions utilizing C++/.NET technology.

• The projects involved are high profile, challenging and offer good career references. The project/product coverage will include both Singapore and Overseas projects.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma,

• Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or equivalent.

• At least 5 years of relevant programming experience in IT environment.

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in C++/VC++/MFC, QT and Python, etc. are essential.

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Image processing.

• Knowledge and experience in development for both Linux and Windows Platform is required.

• Able to perform analysis on impact of new requirements on existing system / design.

• Good written and verbal and inter-personal communication skills.

• Able to work in teams and on own initiative.

• Able to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.

• Willingness to work extended hours during project peak period.

• To succeed in this role, the candidate must be a self- starter and have a positive attitude towards learning business and industry concepts.
