Product Engineer (Electronics / NPI / No Experience Required)

Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned products throughout the entire product lifecycle, from design transfer to end-of-life.
- Develop and maintain NPI schedules to support timely product ramp-up and mass production.
- Coordinate product transfers from design, NPI, and production stages across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Drive continuous improvements in product cost, manufacturing processes, and product performance.
- Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support successful product launches.
- Conduct production release reviews and ensure all required documentation and approvals are completed.
- Support manufacturing sites in achieving target production yield and quality objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities for prototype and pilot builds.
- Work closely with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure material and component readiness.
- Gather and communicate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and PFMEA findings from pilot builds to design teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation in relevant databases.
- Manage Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and ensure data accuracy within SAP systems.
- Coordinate engineering change processes and facilitate stakeholder reviews for product modifications.
- Support product verification, qualification, and test development activities.
- Analyse test results and identify opportunities to improve product quality, test efficiency, and production yield.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to enhance operational performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply.
- Relevant working/internship experience in product engineering or NPI is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) and electronic components such as capacitors, switches, and related hardware.
- Strong analytical, multitasking, and computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in technical design, product transfer, or manufacturing processes within the electronics industry is an added advantage.
- Experience using SAP is an added advantage.
