Assistant Warehouse Manager (5 days / East) [EL]

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfilment.
• Lead, coach, and supervise warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence.
• Plan and optimize warehouse space to support inbound shipments and maximize storage capacity.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and cycle counts.
• Ensure all receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Track warehouse KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain high service standards to meet customer requirements and satisfaction.
• Develop, review, and enforce warehouse procedures and standard operating processes (SOPs).
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or warehouse management, preferably within the logistics or FMCG industry.
• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory control, and order fulfilment.
• Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal departments and external partners.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices in a warehouse environment.
