Japanese Language Educator (Early Childhood / AM shift / Central) [EL]

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging Japanese language lessons for young learners in an early childhood setting.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes participation and language development.
• Incorporate a variety of teaching methods, including songs, storytelling, games, and visual resources, to enhance learning experiences.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and progress.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support students' learning and development.
• Communicate student progress and learning observations to parents or guardians when required.
• Identify learning needs and recommend appropriate support or interventions where necessary.

Requirements

• Relevant experience teaching Japanese language to children, preferably in an early childhood or preschool environment.
• Understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate instructional practices.
• Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills.
• Creative, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching young learners.
• Ability to commit to the required work schedule on a long-term basis.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with colleagues and parents.
