Customer Service Executive (Import & Export, Alt Saturday, CargoWise)

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end airfreight import and export operations, including shipment bookings, documentation, airline coordination, customs clearance, billing, and shipment completion.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely shipment updates, responding to enquiries, and resolving operational issues efficiently.

• Coordinate closely with airlines, ground handling agents, trucking partners, customs authorities, and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment execution and regulatory compliance.

• Ensure all shipments are handled in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs), service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Take ownership of complex, urgent, or high-value shipments by proactively resolving delays, documentation discrepancies, customs-related issues, and other operational challenges.

• Monitor shipment progress and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Maintain accurate shipment records, documentation, billing information, and reports in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

• Provide guidance and support to junior customer service team members on airfreight operations, documentation, and industry best practices.

• Escalate unresolved customer or operational issues to management promptly while ensuring appropriate follow-up and resolution.

Requirements

• Diploma in Supply Chain & Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent

• At least 2 - 3 years of experience in airfreight customer service or freight forwarding operations, preferably with experience in import and export shipments.

• Candidate with prior experience using CargoWise system will be an added advantage.
