Job Summary

Seeking a Science Laboratory Assistant to support the daily operations of school science laboratories and preparation rooms. The role involves preparing laboratory materials, maintaining a safe learning environment, and supporting teachers during practical lessons and science activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of science laboratories and preparation rooms.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Prepare and set up equipment, apparatus, and materials for practical lessons.
• Support science demonstrations, experiments, and laboratory activities.
• Work closely with teachers to prepare lesson resources and enrichment programmes.
• Assist during practical lessons and ad-hoc science-related activities.
• Ensure laboratory equipment and materials are properly maintained and stored.

Requirements

• Min GCE O Level
• At least 3 years of working experience in school settings
• Able to work independently
