Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement workplace safety policies, procedures, and programmes.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and address potential hazards.
• Conduct safety briefings and training for workers and site personnel.
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with WSH regulations, legal requirements, and company safety policies.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Site Supervisors to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain proper records and documentation related to Workplace Safety and Health activities.
• Monitor and promote a strong safety culture across the project site.
• Perform other safety-related duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) in the construction industry.
• Possess a valid WSHO certification.
• Good knowledge of WSH regulations, safety standards, and construction safety practices.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good skills in preparing safety reports and maintaining documentation.
