Assistant Project Manager

Join us as an Assistant Project Manager! Our company provides award winning trading systems to majority of the financial brokerages in Singapore & Malaysia. Our clients also include major international banks in Asia.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced candidate to work closely with our dynamic software development team. You will be part of a dedicated team that oversees projects and partnerships, including negotiations, development, and execution of business agreements. The role will include developing business proposals from conceptualization through implementation and monitoring the competitive domain for strategic insights and opportunity development.

This position is based in our Singapore office, located at Capital Tower, Singapore.

Job Description

• Drive project management and ensure delivery on results and timeliness, coordinating between clients, internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Manage organization of key client projects
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a project plan to track progress
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure & test project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT
• Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience as a Project Manager/Scrum Master with a track record of having delivered software projects successfully.
• A keen interest in software development and web technologies (web and mobile apps) is a must. You need not know how to code, but you should be interested to learn how technology works and how a web/mobile application is put together.
• You must be able to set and define systems and processes to deliver end-product with meticulous attention to detail.
• You must have excellent communication and should be able to work well with multiple groups and levels in internal groups and our clients’ organizations.
• You must be able to write clearly and concisely.
• You must understand nuances in implementation approaches and be able to make sensible trade-offs along the way to ensure high product quality and on-time delivery
• Proactive in approach with excellent project management skills
• Experience in SDLC is a must
• Experience in Agile would be a plus
• Experience in Financial application would be a plus
• Able to lead and motivate a team
