Market Risk Analyst (Oil & Gas)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily P&L and exposure reports for physical andderivative trading portfolios.
• Reconcile trading positions, prices and valuations againstindependent market data.
• Monitor daily trading activities and report any unusual movementsor exceptions.
• Assist in monitoring market risk exposures and trading limits.
• Support market risk analysis, including VaR, stress testing andscenario analysis.
• Maintain accurate market data and risk information in the risk management system.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in market risk, middle office, product control or commodities trading support.
• Basic understanding of commodity trading products and market risk management.
• High integrity, professional ethics and sense of responsibility, with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken, as this role requires regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the preparation and review of bilingual business documents, reports and presentations.
