About this job
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain precision grinding machines.
- Perform surfaces / profile grinding and check wheel balancing.
- Read, interpret and review drawings and specifications, computing dimensions and tolerances and verify machined parts conform to specifications.
- Check finished parts before proceeding to the next manufacturing process/department.
- Able to meet daily production targets.
- Carry out 5S standards, proper housekeeping and maintenance of all the machines assigned on a daily basis.
- Ensure general workplace safety.
Job Requirements:
- NITEC in Precision Engineering or equivalent
- With at least 2 years relevant working experience in operating Grinding Machines
- Good knowledge in Milling and Grinding machines, GD&T
- Independent and able to work under a fast pace environment
- Able to do night shift jobs.
