Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the design team in delivering creative and practical workplace and office furniture design solutions.
  • Develop space planning layouts, design concepts, and high-quality 3D visual renderings based on client requirements.
  • Prepare detailed construction and shop drawings for office furniture and interior fit-out projects.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy and quality of design documentation before submission.
  • Prepare presentation materials, including sample boards, material boards, and design proposals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team to develop design proposals and support client presentations.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure design intent is maintained throughout project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, building regulations, and industry standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, providing technical support and design direction.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, timelines, and client expectations are met.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and workplace design innovations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including experience leading design projects or teams (managerial experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of workplace interior design and office furniture systems.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, 3ds Max, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of Revit/BIM is required.
  • Strong space planning, technical detailing, and construction drawing skills.
  • Excellent presentation and visualization abilities.
  • A strong design portfolio showcasing completed projects.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
