Family Medicine Physician / Specialist (Full/ Part-Time)

Job Description

Our client, a private acute tertiary hospital in Singapore, is looking for a Family Medicine Physician / Specialist to join its newly established Health Evaluation service.

The service will focus on corporate health screening for working adults and health evaluation for retirees.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health screening and health evaluation for working adults and retirees
• Perform clinical assessment, review investigation and screening results, and provide appropriate recommendations
• Support the healthcare needs of older and geriatric patients
• Provide preventive health advice, vaccinations and relevant health counselling
• Perform Pap smears and women's health screening
• Review ECG results and other relevant health-screening investigations
• Manage common acute and chronic medical conditions where appropriate
• Identify patients requiring further investigations or specialist referrals
• Coordinate follow-up care with relevant specialists and healthcare professionals
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the new Health Evaluation / Healthy Ageing service

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
• Fully registered with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
• MMed (Family Medicine) preferred
• Candidates with GDFM may also be considered
• Candidates must have experience in both Geriatrics AND Health Screening
• Comfortable performing Pap smears, women's health screening, vaccinations and ECG review
• Experience in preventive care will be an added advantage
• Strong communication and patient-management skills
• Able to provide a high standard of patient-centred care

Employment Arrangement

Both Full-Time and Part-Time arrangements can be considered, depending on the physician's preference.
