Associate Sales Manager (Water Product Specialist / Japanese MNC)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for water quality analytical instruments.
• Manage and expand key accounts across municipal utilities, semiconductor facilities, industrial accounts, and engineering firms.
• Identify new business opportunities, sales leads, and tender prospects in water and wastewater treatment applications.
• Lead, mentor, and coach the sales team and distributor network to deliver consistent performance.
• Collaborate with internal technical, service, and marketing teams to provide comprehensive client solutions.
• Prepare and present technical-commercial proposals, tender submissions, and product demonstrations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to continuously refine sales strategies.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines, CRM data, and regular sales performance forecasts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in water quality analyzers, analytical instrumentation, or environmental technologies.
• Deep technical knowledge of online and laboratory water quality analyzers (e.g., pH, conductivity, turbidity, TOC, nutrients, metals).
• Proven track record in key account management and sales leadership within the water, wastewater, or process industries.
• Strong expertise in preparing and presenting technical-commercial tender documents and sales proposals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, self-motivation, and willingness to travel as required.
