Junior/Senior Maintenance Engineer (Semiconductor / Precision Instruments)

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, calibration, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for scientific analytical instruments at customer sites.
• Address technical inquiries and resolve equipment issues for systems such as Particle Size Analyzers, XRF, Spectroscopy, and ICP Spectrometers.
• Deliver hands-on operational training to end-users, including scientists, engineers, and distributors.
• Collaborate with internal sales and regional technical teams to maintain service excellence across the region.
• Build long-term client relationships and serve as a technical advisor to customers.
• Identify business opportunities for new preventive maintenance contracts.
• Prepare service and spare parts quotations in response to client inquiries.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years (Junior level) or 4+ years (Senior level) of experience servicing scientific or analytical instrumentation.
• Technical familiarity with analytical instruments such as Particle Size Analyzers, XRF, Spectroscopy, or ICP systems is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage field service schedules efficiently.
• Customer-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently at customer locations.
