Manufacturing Test Engineer (MNC/EMS/Semiconductor)

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Application Engineers and Technicians in executing all testing activities for server and rack products in production.
• Implement and manage testing procedures, including PXE Server configuration, run-in, burn-in, and power tests for server and rack systems.
• Collaborate with customers, HQ, and factory teams on test program implementation, maintenance, and failure analysis to drive product improvements.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and oversee testing execution during mass production.
• Develop, update, and maintain Working Instructions (WI) and test program master lists, providing operational training to production staff.
• Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen initiatives and support ISO quality standard implementation and maintenance.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in a server and rack manufacturing or EMS environment.
• Strong knowledge of test methodologies, concepts, and programming/scripting environments such as Linux or C++.
• Practical experience with PXE Server configuration, burn-in, run-in, and power testing processes.
• Proficiency in SAP software and test tracking tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, customers, and overseas counterparts.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask, work under pressure, and attend after-office-hours conference calls when needed.
• Flexibility to work shift rotations, including 12-hour shifts and night shifts, to support production schedules.
