Our client is an established MNC who is the market leader in their industry. As part of their investment in AI, they are now hiring an experienced Head of Artificial Intelligence to join their company.

About the job

• Strategic Direction: Define and execute a long-term, enterprise-wide AI strategy that directly supports corporate goals, drives competitive advantage, and secures new growth opportunities.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of advanced tools, including large language models (LLMs), generative assistants, and automated recommendation systems.
• Platform Excellence: Lead the architecture, development, and modernization of secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise data and AI platforms (including the global data lake) and integration systems (APIs, event-driven), replacing legacy infrastructure.
• AI/ML Enablement: Drive the adoption and operationalization of cutting-edge AI/ML models, including LLMs and Generative AI, by leading high-performance data science and engineering teams. Manage the full AI project lifecycle from PoC to production.
• Governance & Compliance: Establish robust data governance (quality, lineage, stewardship, metadata) and AI governance frameworks, ensuring strict compliance with global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPA) and ethical AI principles.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a key partner to C-level executives and cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Sales) to identify high-impact business problems and integrate AI solutions into core offerings.

Skills and experience required

As a successful applicant, you will have extensive experience in hands on AI experience. Hands-on expertise with generative AI platforms and core AI frameworks (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI,, Prompt Engineering, RAG concepts).

Engagement with senior business stakeholders for change transformation is required for this role.

Proven track record in AI Strategy and roadmap is required for this role. Exposure to regional / global will be highly preferred.
