Toolmaker (Plastic Injection) | Up to $3,200 + AWS + VB

Job Description:

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company in the precision engineering and plastic injection molding industry. They are currently looking for a Toolmaker to support tooling maintenance, mold servicing, and production tooling operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning, maintenance, and servicing of production tooling
• Carry out tooling repair, polishing, fitting, and maintenance work
• Support troubleshooting of molding and tooling issues during production
• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) for molds and tooling systems
• Work closely with machining and production teams for tooling modifications and improvement programs
• Maintain tooling records and maintenance documentation
• Support tooling improvement and continuous enhancement projects
• Train and guide junior toolmakers when required
• Ensure tooling targets and production support requirements are achieved

Requirements:

• NTC-2 with minimum 1 year of molding and tooling experience
  OR
• Minimum Secondary School education with at least 3 years of molding/tooling experience
• Good knowledge in plastic injection mold and die making
• Experience in tooling maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting
• Familiar with machining processes and tooling modification work
• Able to read tooling drawings and use measuring instruments
• Experience in plastic injection molding environment preferred

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:15am – 5:15pm
• Saturday: 8:15am – 12:15pm
• Sunday Off

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary: $2,200 – $3,200
• Attendance Allowance: $100/month
