Regional Sales Engineer (manufacturer)

About the Role

We are seeking a Regional Sales Engineer to drive business growth and deliver high-quality technical support across the region. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and presenting tailored technical solutions to meet prospective and existing customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and cultivate new business opportunities across the region.

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing key accounts.

• Deliver technical presentations and propose solutions aligned with client specifications.

• Prepare commercial proposals, technical clarifications, and formal quotations.

• Lead technical discussions with customers, system integrators, and strategic partners throughout the sales cycle.

• Collaborate with internal engineering, technical, and service teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Maintain high standards of client engagement and customer satisfaction.

• Travel across the assigned region (approximately 25% – 40%) for site visits, client meetings, and industry events.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven background in Sales Engineering and Technical Support, with a strong ability to interpret customer requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Strong consultative sales and account management capabilities to foster lasting client relationships.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex engineering concepts clearly and prepare structured documentation.

• Relevant academic background in Mechanical, Chemical, Process Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.

• Prior experience with rotating equipment, compressors, or process industry applications is highly desirable.

• Strong self-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects, and operate effectively in a regional context.

• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRM / sales management platforms (e.g., SAP C4C).
