NPI (New Product Introduction) Program Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with customer NPI engineer to understand the newly introduced product base on the design requirement, pre-review the process and actively feedback for potential improvement, and ensure flawless transfer.
• Coordinate NPI activities to different function (Product/Process Engineering Team) prior build.
• Work with Production team to validate process method and parts to be used prior site pilot to make sure all requirements are met.
• Work with Technical support team to make sure all production line requirement (e.g. Jig, fixture, torque drivers etc.) are met.
• Design the in-house fixture/jigs if applicable and provide the design requirement to technical support team for fabrication.
• Provide technical support to production to solve issues encountered during the site pilot and Material Validation Build.
• Ensure smooth handover to mass run by conduct training to related team on new process / WI.
• Ensure all issues and operation feedback are captured, reviewed and follow up for proper closure. Identify opportunity for improvement.
• Assists customer and internal team for Kaizen projects, including 8D and CAPA.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing engineering or relevant field
• Prefer to have server/storage product experience
