DOOR INSTALLER

Key Responsibilities

• Install and replace doors, door frames, hinges, handles, locks, closers, and related hardware.
• Measure door openings accurately and ensure proper alignment and fitting.
• Perform cutting, drilling, trimming, and other adjustments required for installation.
• Inspect completed installations to ensure doors open, close, lock, and operate correctly.
• Repair and adjust existing doors and hardware when required.
• Follow project specifications, drawings, and installation procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, customers, contractors, and other workers.
• Complete work within the required schedule and quality standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in door installation, carpentry, construction, renovation, or a related trade.
• Practical knowledge of door installation and hardware.
• Able to read measurements and basic technical drawings.
• Skilled in using common hand and power tools.
• Good attention to detail and workmanship.
• Physically fit and able to handle doors and installation materials.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, punctual, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines , withflexbility to work extended hours when required.
