Bakery Service Crew

Job Summary

You will deliver excellent customer service, manage cashier duties, maintain bakery product quality and presentation, support stock handling, and uphold cleanliness and food safety standards in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide efficient service to enhance their experience
• Assist customers in selecting products and offer informed recommendations
• Process cash and electronic payments accurately at the cashier counter
• Arrange, display, and replenish bakery products neatly to company standards
• Pack and serve bakery items following company guidelines for quality and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery, counter, and dining areas consistently
• Inspect bakery products for freshness, quality, and expiry dates before sale
• Receive, check, and store stock properly to ensure inventory accuracy
• Support daily opening and closing procedures to prepare the outlet for operation
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support bakery operations
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and company standard operating procedures strictly
• Handle customer enquiries and feedback professionally to resolve issues promptly
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Outlet Manager or Supervisor as required

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in F&B, bakery, retail, or customer service environments is advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and team members
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform basic physical tasks
• Positive attitude with eagerness to learn and grow in the role
