Essential Function
1. Workshop Operations Management
Manage and oversee daily workshop operations, including job allocation, manpower planning, and scheduling.
Monitor workflow to ensure timely completion of repairs and servicing tasks.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.
2. Safety & Compliance
Maintain a safe work environment and ensure strict adherence to safety policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all company safety rules and regulatory requirements at all times to prevent accidents or incidents.
3. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Provide technical guidance and support to workshop personnel.
Recommend and implement appropriate corrective measures for mechanical or operational issues.
4. Documentation & Reporting
Ensure proper documentation of all repair and servicing work, including detailed records of parts used and labor performed.
Maintain accurate workshop records for audit and compliance purposes.
5. Team Leadership & Supervision
Supervise, train, and mentor workshop staff to improve skills and performance.
Conduct performance evaluations and recommend training programs where necessary.
Foster teamwork, discipline, and a positive working environment.
6. Inventory Management
Monitor inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure availability of necessary materials.
Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of tools and workshop equipment.
7. Cost Control
Monitor workshop expenses and control operational costs.
Ensure efficient utilization of manpower and resources
Qualifications
Diploma graduates from Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 2 years experiences in handling diesel engine repair and maintenance at site or those who has experience working in similar rental industries is desirable.
Meticulous person with a good communications skill for dealing with people from diverse background.
Persistent individual who are a perfectionist at times and an efficient person at all times.
Possess Singapore Class 3 driving license
