Sales Manager/ Engineer (manufacturing)

About the Role

Drive sales strategy and lead the local sales team to expand regional market presence. You will combine hands-on business development with team management, targeting valves, actuators, and instrumentation systems for Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants (WTP/WWTP).

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Set sales targets, mentor team members, allocate accounts, and review team performance reports.

• Business Development: Identify project opportunities and drive sales of flow-control solutions to plants, consultants, and contractors.

• Technical & Commercial Support: Review project specifications/drawings, prepare compliance submissions, oversee factory certifications, and present technical solutions to stakeholders.

• Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with consultants, end-users, and owners; manage inquiries, quotations, and post-sales issues alongside manufacturing sites.

• Reporting: Maintain weekly and monthly reports on sales activity, order pipeline, and market competitive intelligence.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• Experience: 4+ years of technical sales experience in valves, actuators, or industrial instrumentation (specifically within WTP/WWTP sectors).

• Leadership: Prior experience in a sales team lead or managerial capacity is preferred.

• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret CAD technical drawings.
