Job Summary
You will manage comprehensive accounting functions including bookkeeping, account reconciliations, tax handling, payroll, and financial reporting to support management decisions and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage full spectrum of accounting activities including bookkeeping, maintaining full set of accounts, and preparing financial reports
- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions accurately and timely
- Conduct GST reviews and prepare Corporate Tax documentation to ensure regulatory compliance
- Administer payroll processing and CPF contributions with accuracy and timeliness
- Oversee treasury and banking operations to maintain optimal cash flow and fund management
- Liaise effectively with auditors, tax agents, company secretarial services, and bankers to facilitate audits and compliance
- Verify incoming funds through internet banking and ensure accurate recording
- Review and validate invoices and cheque requests; prepare receiving and payment vouchers to maintain financial control
- Organize and maintain up-to-date financial records and monitor cash flow for operational efficiency
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Prepare month-end closing reports to provide accurate financial status to management
Required competencies and certifications
- A-level or Diploma in Accountancy
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks Accounting Software, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Knowledgeable in financial reporting standards and practices
- Effective time management, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and work efficiently under deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and skills in planning, organizing, scheduling, and monitoring tasks
- Initiative and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze issues and implement solutions
- Proficient in English and Mandarin to liaise with counterparts in Shanghai and Beijing on accounting matters
