Radio Frequency Test Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform RF and functional testing on PCB assemblies, RF modules, Ku-band, Ka-band, and VSAT communication equipment.
• Execute approved test procedures and quality standards to verify product performance against specified pass/fail criteria.
• Operate RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers (VNA), signal generators, power meters, and oscilloscopes.
• Set up and maintain test benches, ensuring proper calibration, safety compliance, and adherence to ESD handling procedures.
• Support production testing and troubleshooting by identifying faults, assisting with re-testing after rework, and maintaining accurate test records.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in electronics testing, production testing, or a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Basic understanding of RF principles, including frequency, power, gain, and signal behavior.
• Ability to operate RF test instruments such as spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, power meters, and oscilloscopes.
• Familiarity with PCB assemblies, electronic components, ESD-safe handling practices, and basic troubleshooting in electronics manufacturing.
