Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop High Voltage (HV) and Medium Voltage (MV) electrical systems for substations, power distribution networks, and industrial facilities.

• Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, single-line diagrams, layouts, and detailed design drawings.

• Perform equipment sizing and selection, including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, protection systems, and associated electrical equipment.

• Review and evaluate vendor submissions, technical proposals, and engineering documents.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure successful project execution.

• Support testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and site activities when required.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.

• Provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual design through commissioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Experience in HV/MV substation design, power distribution systems, or electrical infrastructure projects.

• Strong understanding of electrical power systems, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and substation equipment.

• Familiarity with relevant international standards and electrical codes.

• Proficiency in engineering software and design tools.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team.
