SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Job Description

• Oversee project budgets, progress claims, variation orders, and final account settlements.

• Prepare tender submissions, evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotations, and negotiate competitive terms.

• Track expenditures, prepare valuations, and submit detailed cost reports to management and clients.

• Attend site meetings, liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve commercial issues.

• Ensure adherence to legal, safety, and environmental requirements; maintain accurate records of claims and contracts.

• For tender-focused positions, manage cost estimates, perform quantity take-offs, and ensure timely, compliant submissions.

Job Requirements

Education: Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building, or related discipline.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in construction

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of contracts, procurement, and tendering procedures.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Analytical ability to interpret technical and financial documents.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
