We are hiring for our MNC client:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to take the lead in maintaining, improving and modernising industrial automation systems within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance of automation systems
• Ensure high system availability and minimise production downtime
• Design, develop and implement new automation systems and process improvements
• Develop control logic and HMI interfaces, and integrate SCADA & DCS systems
• Troubleshoot complex automation issues and conduct root cause analysis
• Support automated equipment including robots, applicators and smart devices
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reliability and productivity
• Lead system upgrades and automation modernisation projects
• Maintain technical documentation, standards and procedures
• Work closely with Production, Engineering and Maintenance teams
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or equivalent
• Min. 5 years of industrial automation experience
• Experience in leading automation projects and troubleshooting complex systems
• Strong hands-on knowledge of: ABB 800xA DCSSchneider, Siemens PLC programming, SCADA systems (Fix32 or equivalent), Industrial control systems & client-server architecture
• Strong understanding of control systems and industrial networking
• Good problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills

Added Advantage

• Experience in Food Manufacturing / FMCG
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and sanitation standards
• Exposure to robotics, vision systems and Industry 4.0 technologies
