About this job

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the company’s day-to-day banking and financing activities, including banking facilities, working capital loans, trade financing, and other corporate financing arrangements.

  • Liaise directly with banks and financial institutions on financing applications, facility renewals, loan drawdowns, repayments, documentation requirements, and other banking matters.

  • Coordinate and prepare financing-related documents, including financial information, operational data, banking forms, facility documentation, and supporting materials required by financial institutions.

  • Handle trade finance transactions and facilities, including Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Trust Receipts (TR), import financing, and other trade-related banking instruments.

  • Maintain and monitor the company’s financing portfolio, including facility limits and utilisation, loan schedules, repayment obligations, interest rates, maturity dates, and key financing terms.

  • Coordinate with the finance and business teams on funding requirements, cash flow arrangements, financing utilisation, and related financial information.

  • Conduct financing cost analysis and comparisons, including interest rates, banking charges, facility terms, and financing options, to support financing decisions.

  • Prepare regular financing reports, facility summaries, banking updates, and other management information as required.

  • Review banking and financing documentation and coordinate internally to ensure timely completion of financing transactions and compliance with relevant requirements.

  • Maintain effective working relationships with banks, financial institutions, and relevant external business partners.

  • Monitor banking policies, interest rate movements, financing market developments, and relevant regulatory changes that may affect the company’s financing activities.

  • Support management in evaluating financing proposals, banking arrangements, and funding solutions based on the company’s operational and business requirements.

  • Undertake other finance, banking, and corporate financing matters as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Banking, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, corporate finance, treasury, trade finance, or related financing functions.

  • Hands-on experience in managing banking facilities and financing transactions, preferably with exposure to working capital loans and trade finance facilities.

  • Good working knowledge of banking and trade finance products, including LC, BG, TR, import financing, and other working capital facilities.

  • Good understanding of financial statements, cash flow, financing structures, interest calculations, and other financing-related financial data.

  • Ability to independently coordinate financing applications, facility documentation, drawdowns, renewals, and related banking processes.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with banks, financial institutions, management, and internal departments.

  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.

  • Responsible, execution-focused, and able to manage multiple financing matters and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and travel when required.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
