Resident Surveyor

Job Summary

Perform precise land and engineering surveys to support construction projects, ensuring accurate data verification and collaboration with engineering teams to produce detailed drawings and layouts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct land and engineering surveys to establish site boundaries and land titles for construction projects
• Establish demarcations and provide guidance to ensure construction proceeds accurately
• Perform pre-computation checks and calculations before setting out for field surveys
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, measurements, and calculations to maintain quality standards
• Collaborate with engineering teams to prepare detailed engineering drawings and sketches
• Design technical drawings including layouts, elevations, and detailed plans to support project execution

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Land Surveying or a recognized Degree in Geomatics or Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 8 years postgraduate experience on LTA or large-scale civil engineering projects in Singapore
• SISV Membership as a Technical Member or higher with the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers
