About this job
Job Summary
Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings for construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support project execution from design through construction phases.
Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural, shop, construction detail, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD to support project delivery
- Revise drawings based on feedback from architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, M&E, and other disciplines to identify and resolve design conflicts
- Ensure all drawings meet project specifications, authority requirements, and company standards for quality and compliance
- Assist in preparing submission drawings for consultants and relevant authorities to facilitate approvals
- Update drawings throughout construction to reflect changes and support project teams effectively
- Participate in coordination meetings to align design and construction activities with project goals
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Technical Manager to support project success
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Higher NITEC in Architecture, Building, Drafting, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant drafting experience in the building construction industry
- Knowledge of Revit/BIM software to enhance drawing and modeling capabilities
- Familiarity with architectural detailing, construction methods, and Singapore building practices
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings accurately
- Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate with project stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and deliver drawings within project deadlines
- Experience in LTA / MRT projects and working with Main Contractors is an advantage
