CARPENTER

• Perform carpentry tasks related to commercial and residential projects

• Assemble and install frameworks, roofing, partitions, staircases, and cabinetry

• Interpret and analyze blueprints, sketches, or building plans

• Measure, cut, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as doors, windows, walls, floors, frameworks, and furniture & Use hand tools and power tools such as saws, hammers, drills, and chisels

• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using measuring tools

• Ensure structures meet building codes and safety standards

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

• Work with other trades to complete construction projects

• Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to deadlines
