Job Summary

To assist management to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and admin operations

Responsibilities

• Ensure all accounting processes comply with established procedures and regulatory requirements to maintain accuracy and compliance
• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable promptly to support financial accuracy
• Process daily accounting entries to maintain up-to-date financial records
• Manage petty cash, staff claims, and cheque preparation to ensure proper cash flow and documentation
• Reconcile bank records to verify financial transactions and balances
• Verify costs and post general overhead expenses to maintain accurate expense tracking
• Assist in preparing and submitting GST returns, statutory audits, and statutory tax filings to meet regulatory deadlines
• Prepare project costing reports, monthly expense reports, and yearly forecast reports to support financial planning
• Source products and perform price comparisons to optimize procurement costs when required
• Assist in asset maintenance including license applications and renewals, and sourcing vehicles and equipment to support operations
• Support additional duties delegated by management to ensure smooth financial and administrative operations
