Dental Surgery Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform customer service duties at the front desk such as handling patient registration, appointment booking, answering phone calls and attending to patients' enquiries.

• Setting up and preparing the necessary equipment and materials for different dental services.

• Assisting the dentist during treatment.

• Ensuring safety and comfort of patients.

• Educating clients on dental procedures and post-operative care.

• Updating patient records on the computer using relevant software.

• Keeping clean and sterile for all needed equipment.

• Complying with all rules on confidentiality and Data Protection.

• To carry out any other duties as requested by colleagues to ensure that patients receive a high quality of patient care.

Job Requirements:

• Preferably minimum of 1 year's customer-service/ front-desk/ Dental Assistant experience

• Computer and smartphone literate

• Able to converse in English and Mandarin so as to provide communication on medical consultation in English or Mandarin speaking clients

• Preferably able to speak Chinese dialects (eg Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew) so as to provide communication on medical consultation to dialect-speaking clients

• Pleasant, hardworking, and responsible team-player. Able to work independently and with others.

• Proactive and able to take the initiative while working with fellow colleagues as a team

• Able to work office hours, 5.5 days a week
