Technology Specialist

We are looking for a Technology Specialist to support the development, maintenance, and improvement of AKC’s digital systems, internal tools, automation workflows, and IT infrastructure.

This role is suitable for graduates who enjoy hands-on technical work and want to build real industry experience across software, IT support, automation, data, and emerging technologies. You will work on practical technology projects that support business operations, training delivery, internal productivity, and digital transformation.

Roles and Responsibilities

Software Development & Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain in-house software applications to support business operations.
• Implement automation solutions to improve efficiency in workflows and IT processes.
• Develop and maintain APIs, scripts, and system integrations.

Networking & Server Management

• Configure, monitor, and maintain network infrastructure, servers, and cloud environments.
• Ensure security, reliability, and performance of IT systems.
• Manage data backups, disaster recovery plans, and IT compliance.

Applied AI & Analytics

• Develop data-driven insights by leveraging AI, machine learning, and analytics tools.
• Implement predictive analytics and automation for system optimizations.
• Work with data visualization tools to present key business metrics.

Simulations & System Optimization

• Develop and maintain simulations for testing and training purposes.
• Optimize system performance through real-world scenario modelling.
• Utilize simulation tools and frameworks to enhance decision-making.

Requirements

· Nitec or Higher Nitec in AI Applications, Business Information Systems, Cyber & Network Security, IT Systems &Networks, Operational & Information Technology, Security System Integration or related fields

· Basic programming knowledge such as Python, JavaScript, C#, PHP, Java, C++, or similar

· Comfortable troubleshooting technical issues

· Interested in automation, AI tools, dashboards, simulations, or digital systems

· Practical, curious, and willing to learn
