Culinary Events Workshop Facilitator

We are looking for a passionate, outgoing and sales-driven Culinary Events Workshop Facilitator to join our team at Pots & Pans Culinary Studio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people, conducting culinary workshops, promoting courses and generating new enrolments.

The role combines culinary facilitation, customer engagement and sales, with an hourly-based remuneration structure plus attractive commissions for successful course enrolments and sales generated.

Key Responsibilities

Culinary Workshops & Events

• Facilitate short culinary workshops, demonstrations and hands-on cooking sessions.
• Engage participants and create an enjoyable, informative and interactive workshop experience.
• Demonstrate fundamental cooking techniques, food safety and practical culinary skills.
• Ensure workshops are conducted safely, professionally and according to company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and hygiene of the studio and kitchen throughout workshops.
• Ensure kitchen equipment and facilities are properly maintained and used safely.

Sales & Customer Engagement

• Actively promote our culinary courses, workshops and training programmes to participants and prospective learners.
• Engage workshop participants to understand their interests and recommend suitable courses.
• Generate leads and convert workshop participants into course enrolments.
• Follow up with interested participants and prospective learners where required.
• Represent the brand professionally at workshops, events, roadshows and other promotional activities.
• Work towards individual sales and enrolment targets.
• Identify opportunities to promote additional courses and programmes to existing learners and participants.

Team & Operations

• Work closely with the sales and operations teams to maximise enrolments from workshops and events.
• Provide feedback on participant interest, customer enquiries and potential sales opportunities.
• Support other culinary events, promotional activities and workshops as required.

Remuneration & Incentives

• Hourly-based pay for workshop facilitation and event assignments.
• Additional commission for successful course enrolments and sales generated.

Requirements

• Culinary experience or formal culinary education preferred.
• ACTA or ACLP certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety and kitchen operations.
• Confident, outgoing and comfortable engaging with customers.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Sales-oriented with the ability to promote products and confidently convert enquiries into enrolments.
• Positive, energetic and engaging personality.
• Comfortable conducting short workshops and demonstrations.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends or event-based assignments when required.
