Job Summary

You will plan and prepare production work orders, manage purchase orders and inventory, schedule machinery maintenance, liaise with vendors for repairs, and investigate product quality issues to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare production work orders to meet operational schedules
• Prepare, issue, and follow up on purchase orders to suppliers to ensure timely procurement
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime
• Liaise with vendors to obtain quotations, troubleshoot, and repair machinery issues
• Manage inventory levels of materials and machine parts to support production needs
• Review product quality issues and determine appropriate disposition actions
• Investigate quality escapes, produce defect reports, and recommend preventive measures to improve product quality

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum Higher NITEC qualification in Mechatronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Ability to interpret mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical drawings to support maintenance and production tasks
• Experience using workshop tools and equipment to perform maintenance and repairs
• Good command of written and spoken English to communicate effectively with team and vendors
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to document and report work
