Job Responsibilities
• Collaborated with domestic and overseas design institutes to comprehensively review the HVAC construction drawings for the Indonesia project’s data center. Based on international standards such as TIA942, Uptime Tier, and ASHRAE, we carried out technical tasks including detailed drawing refinement, cooling and heating load calculations, hydraulic balance verification, and airflow organization optimization.
• Responsible for preparing technical specifications for core HVAC equipment such as chillers, precision air conditioners, cooling towers, and pumps; conducting technical reviews of tenders; and performing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). Ensuring that the equipment’s technical parameters are well-suited to the project requirements.
• Based at the project site in Indonesia, provide full-time oversight of the HVAC construction’s quality, schedule, and safety. Conduct technical briefings, on-site supervision, and acceptance inspections for critical processes such as pipe laying, equipment installation, and thermal insulation work.
• Led the single-unit commissioning of chilled water systems and air-conditioning terminal systems, integrated system commissioning, hydraulic balancing adjustments, and load performance testing; organized and completed SAT on-site acceptance work.
• Liaise with Indonesia’s local authorities responsible for housing and construction, fire safety, energy conservation, and other regulatory bodies to complete the submission, compliance filing, and certification processes for HVAC projects; prepare竣工 documentation in both Chinese and English, as well as operation and maintenance guidance documents.
Job Requirements
• Associate degree or above through the national enrollment system, majoring in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Engineering, Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering, HVAC, Refrigeration and Cryogenic Engineering, or related fields.
• Over 5 years of experience in the full lifecycle construction of data center HVAC systems, with independent responsibility for the end-to-end implementation of large-scale IDC cooling systems and precision air-conditioning systems. Familiar with Uptime Tier and ASHRAE international HVAC standards.
• Proficient in the principles of the full range of HVAC systems for data centers, with skilled mastery of core technologies and key construction practices including chiller units, cooling towers, centralized pump control systems, precision air conditioners, hot/cold aisle containment, airflow optimization, and condensation prevention insulation.
• Proficient in using specialized design software such as CAD and Hongye HVAC, capable of independently completing detailed HVAC drawings, optimizing design solutions, and performing technical verifications.
• Willing to work long-term in Indonesia, with cross-cultural communication and coordination skills as well as local team management capabilities. English is acceptable as a working language; proficiency in Indonesian is preferred.
