On-site Low-Voltage Engineer Overseas

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinated with domestic and international design institutes to review the complete set of construction drawings for the low-voltage specialty of the Indonesia data center project, covering core low-voltage systems such as structured cabling, power and environmental monitoring, BMS building automation, security surveillance, fire alarm systems, and interlinked emergency response mechanisms.

• Responsible for preparing technical specifications for low-voltage equipment such as network devices, monitoring devices, access control systems, environmental monitoring hosts, and various sensors; conducting technical reviews during tendering processes; and performing Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to ensure that equipment meets the required technical standards and quality specifications.

• The Indonesian project involves on-site presence throughout the entire project duration, overseeing the quality and schedule of low-voltage electrical construction. We strictly control key construction processes such as structured cabling, cable tray installation, fiber optic splicing, and equipment installation and commissioning.

• Led the single-unit commissioning of low-voltage systems, integrated system testing, and cross-system integration tests, and completed the commissioning and optimization of core functions such as dynamic environmental monitoring data acquisition, BA automatic control logic debugging, security access control interlocking, and fire alarm interlocking.

• Liaise with local Indonesian authorities responsible for housing and construction, fire safety, and security supervision to complete the inspection, compliance filing, and certification of low-voltage systems projects; prepare completion documents in both Chinese and English, as well as operation and maintenance technical documentation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above through the national unified enrollment system, majoring in Communication Engineering, Electronic Information, Building Electrical and Intelligent Systems, Low-Voltage Engineering, Network Engineering, or related fields.

• Over 3 years of experience in the full lifecycle construction of data center low-voltage systems; independently led large-scale IDC projects involving low-voltage system integration, power and environmental monitoring, security, and building automation systems; familiar with Uptime Tier and TIA942 international standards.

• Proficient in the architecture and technical principles of the full range of low-voltage systems in data centers, with skilled expertise in the design and commissioning of integrated cabling, fiber-optic splicing loss testing, dynamic environmental monitoring, BA automated control systems, fire alarm interlocking, and security access control and surveillance systems.

• Proficient in using CAD drawing software as well as specialized tools for network testing, fiber optic inspection, and more; capable of independently completing detailed design and optimization of low-voltage electrical drawings.

• Preference given to candidates willing to work long-term in Indonesia, with excellent cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to independently write technical documents in English. Proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
