RECLAMATION WORKER (SURVEY ENGINEER)

• Plan and execute hydrographic surveys using advanced multibeam echo sounders and related positioning systems
• Calibrate and operate survey equipment, ensuring optimal data quality in varying sea and weather conditions.
• Collect, process, and validate bathymetric data using industry-standard software such as CARIS HIPS & SIPS or QPS Qimera
• Integrate tide, current, and positioning data to produce high-resolution seabed maps and 3D models
• Collaborate with marine engineers, environmental scientists, and project managers to deliver survey outputs that meet project specifications
• Maintain detailed survey logs, equipment records, and quality control documentation
• Utilize advance surveying equipment and technologies (e.g., GPS, total stations, scanners and digital levels) to collect and analyse data, ensuring accuracy and reliability
• Mapping & Documentation: Create and maintain detailed maps, plans, and reports based on survey data using AutoCad Civil 3D
• Data Analysis and Computation: Prepare survey data, generate surfaces and perform data analysis and volumetric computations using AutoCad Civil 3D and similar programs
• Verify the accuracy of design drawings and survey data for submissions
• Work closely with site managers, site engineers, site supervisors and project consultants to provide survey insights and recommendations for planning and executions
• Ensure all surveying activities comply with local regulations, safety standards and project requirements

• Ability to work in various outdoor conditions and navigate construction sites safely

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics or related field
• Minimum of 5 years in surveying, preferably in construction or reclamation projects
• Proficiency with survey equipment (R2 sonic, Teledyne, RTK-GPS and Total station)
• Proficiency with Teledyne PDS, Terramodel & Autocad civil 3d
