Account Executive

Bonvests Holdings Limited, a public-listed company with diversified businesses in Hotel (Ownership and Management), Property (Investment and Development) and Waste (Management and Contract Cleaning), invites suitably qualified and dedicated candidates to join our corporate head office as Account Executive.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Mainly taking charge of the accounts assisting the Senior Account Executive and Finance Manager
• Follow the established policies, procedures and internal control frameworks in daily operations
• Perform review of invoices and documents submitted by overseas hotel properties, ensuring completeness and compliance with the authorisation matrix
• Day to day reconciliation of all invoices to the purchase orders and flag out exceptions
• Liaise with Purchasing Department and the properties to ensure that the discrepancies will be resolved on time
• Matching of purchase requests, purchase order (PO), delivery orders (DO) and invoices for payment processing and issuance of cheques to suppliers
• Perform routine AR, AP and cashbook functions
• Perform monthly supplier statement of accounts reconciliation and liaise with suppliers for payment-related issues
• Assist in monthly accounts closing and preparation of schedules
• Ad hoc duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications & experience

• Knowledge of computerized accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Positive attitude, highly motivated and with an attention for detail
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Diploma and equivalent
• Preferably minimum 1 year of relevant working experience, fresh graduate may also apply
• Able to work independently to meet deadlines
