Business Development Manager (managing distributor)

Job Description:

• Drive the achievement of annual sales revenue and market share targets for assigned markets in Asia, in line with the company’s strategic business objectives.

• Manage and strengthen relationships with regional distributors, serving as the primary contact for assigned territory.

• Evaluate distributor’s performance using distributor’s scorecard, identify capability gaps and implement improvement initiatives to enhance overall business performance.

• Conduct regular field visits to review business performance, identify growth opportunities and assist distributors with business development plans.

• Conduct sales training program to strengthen distributor’s sales effectiveness

• Partner with distributors on branding initiatives, merchandising, retail execution and trade events, to maximize product visibility and sales opportunities.

• Acquire a clear understanding of distributors’ business cycle and market dynamic to facilitate accurate sales and production forecasting.

• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.

• Prepare and participate in the monthly sales performance review with management team.

• Collaborate with Service team to provide regular product updates and resolve client issues with distributors.

• Work with Supply Chain and Finance teams for on time product delivery and prompt payment from customers.
