Assistant Manager, Legal and Trade Control Compliance

Key Responsibilities

• Lead export control compliance across SEA, including end-user screening, SAP export control processes, licensing, and HQ approvals.

• Conduct export control training and ensure compliance among employees, especially Sales teams.

• Prepare annual sales reports and participate in regional/global export control meetings.

• Review and manage contracts (NDA, agreements, etc.) and handle legal disputes.

• Manage compliance matters including anti-trust, anti-bribery, PDPA, and legal audits.

• Conduct legal/compliance training and oversee internal rules and affiliate legal matters.

• Act as liaison between HQ Legal and SEA affiliates.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Law, International Business, or related field.

• 5+ years’ experience in trade/export compliance.

• Experience in law firms or in-house legal, particularly contract review/management.

• Good awareness of regional geopolitical issues.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Strong analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Independent, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
