Technical Sales Executive

• Position: Technical Sales Executive

• Location: Tuas (company transport provided at various MRT pick up points)

• Working hours: Monday to Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm)

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $5,000 Monthly Basic Salary + $1,000 Monthly Transport Reimbursement + Commission + AWS + Flexi Benefits (Dental, TCM) + Meal Allowance + Performance Bonus

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Equipment & parts distributor (MNC)

Main Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, prospecting and customer engagement.

• Build and manage relationships with customers, vendors and business partners.

• Support management in preparing business proposals, distributorship opportunities and commercial presentations.

• Lead and support sales activities including joint sales visits, customer presentations and direct selling.

• Understand customer technical and commercial requirements and recommend suitable solutions.

• Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations and supporting sales documentation.

• Track sales activities, pipeline and performance using CRM systems.

• Review sales performance and prepare regular management reports.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and market-share developments.

• Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams to support customer requirements and order fulfilment.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.

• At least two years of relevant technical sales experience in the engineering, construction or industrial equipment sector.

• Possession of a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous due to regular customer visits.

• Comfortable with prospecting and new-business development.

• Able to prepare quotations, proposals and customer presentations.

• Familiarity with CRM systems would be advantageous.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
