Maintenance Technician

• Position: Maintenance Technician

• Location: Bedok

• Working hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm), Alternate Saturday (9am - 1pm)

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3,300 Monthly Basic Salary + Performance Bonus + Staff Benefits

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Food & Beverage

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs for F&B equipment and outlet facilities.

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment including dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, ovens, fryers, steamers, induction cookers and exhaust systems.

• Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical, plumbing and refrigeration-related faults.

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests.

• Install, test and commission new equipment where required.

• Maintain outlet facilities including lighting, water-supply systems, doors, locks and other building fixtures.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports and spare-parts inventory.

• Coordinate with external service contractors and suppliers when specialised repairs are required.

• Follow applicable workplace safety and equipment-maintenance procedures.

Requirements:

• Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Facilities Maintenance, Engineering or a related discipline.

• At least one year of relevant experience in equipment maintenance, facilities maintenance or technical support.

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical or commercial kitchen equipment would be advantageous.

• Able to read basic equipment manuals, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
