Quality Engineer $3.5K - $5.5K / Benefits: AWS + Medical + Transport (MFG Industry) Near Tuas MRT

Key Duties

• Ensure inspection processes comply with work instructions, quality plans, drawings, and QMS requirements
• Lead cross-functional investigations into customer complaints and internal quality issues; drive corrective and preventive actions
• Analyse quality performance data and implement continual improvement initiatives
• Conduct internal audits for QMS and customer requirement compliance
• Coordinate with customers' third-party inspectors for ongoing and pre-delivery inspections; provide prompt progress updates
• Review and sign off material certificates, certificates of conformance, and test reports
• Liaise with suppliers and customers on material certificate matters
• Manage calibration schedules and maintain the Calibrated Measuring Equipment log for production and quality departments
• Arrange chemical and mechanical testing of incoming material samples
• Maintain and update QMS documents, customer specs, and international standard specs (latest revisions on shop floor and server)
• Train and upskill quality inspectors; support departmental KPI targets
• Review quality documentation packages (dossiers) for accuracy and completeness before customer submission
• Support 5S implementation, safety guidelines, and the Company Code of Business Conduct

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Oil & Gas Equipment Manufacturing
• Working knowledge of QMS, internal auditing, and calibration control
• Familiar with material certificates, certificates of conformance, and test report review
• Confident handling third-party and customer inspections
• Strong accountability, customer focus, and a track record of delivering results
