Ab Initio ETL & Finance Ledger Specialist

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting and analyzing finance and regulatory reporting applications by leveraging expertise in Ab Initio ETL and Finance Ledger processes. The role involves understanding data transformation logic, validating financial data, investigating issues, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret Ab Initio ETL code, data flows, and transformation logic.

• Investigate and resolve data-related issues impacting finance and regulatory reporting systems.

• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.

• Interpret Finance Ledger data, including General Ledger (GL) and Sub-Ledger transactions.

• Validate financial data mappings and transformations across source and target systems.

• Support regulatory reporting processes by ensuring data integrity, traceability, and compliance.

• Collaborate with Finance, Business, and Technology teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.

• Document data flows, business rules, and technical processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio ETL and data integration processes.

• Ability to read, understand, and analyze complex ETL code and data transformation logic.

• In-depth knowledge of Finance Ledger, including General Ledger, Sub-Ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.

• Experience supporting finance, accounting, regulatory reporting, or banking applications.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Banking and Financial Services.

• Exposure to regulatory reporting and financial data governance.

• Experience supporting mission-critical production applications.
