Position: Crewing Executive
Salary: SGD 3,000 – 3,500 per month, depending on experience
Location: Singapore

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a Crewing Executive to take charge of the crewing matters for our bunker barge operations and assist the Crewing Manager with daily crewing and administrative duties.

The responsibilities include:

• Manage and coordinate crew planning, deployment and crew changes for bunker barges.
• Arrange and coordinate crew joining and sign-off, including flights, accommodation, transportation and related logistics.
• Liaise with manning agencies, crew members, vessels, local agents and other relevant parties on crew matters.
• Monitor crew certificates, medical fitness, passports, visas and other required documents.
• Maintain accurate and updated crew records and databases.
• Follow up on crew contracts, SEA, leave, repatriation and other employment-related matters.
• Assist with crew payroll and other crew administration matters.
• Monitor crew availability and maintain an updated crew pool for bunker barge operations.
• Assist with crew recruitment, interview arrangements and onboarding.
• Prepare crew-related documents, reports, letters and correspondence.
• Assist the Crewing Manager in the day-to-day management of the crewing department.
• Perform general administrative and other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
• Previous experience in ship management, crewing or maritime operations is preferred.
• Experience handling crew matters for bunker barges, tugboats or harbour vessels will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of crew change arrangements and crew documentation.
• Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Organised, responsible and able to work independently.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
