• Position: Field Service Engineer – Scientific & Analytical Instruments
• Location: Kallang
• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Working Hours: 9.00AM to 5.30PM
• Salary: Up to $5,000 Basic + Transport Allowance + AWS + Performance Bonus
• Benefits: 14 Days Annual Leave + Medical & Dental Benefits + WFH Flexibility
• Duration: Permanent

• Our client is an established analytical instrumentation company seeking a Field Service Engineer to support installation, servicing, troubleshooting and customer technical support for scientific instruments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of analytical/scientific instruments.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment faults and resolve service issues effectively.
• Coordinate technical cases and escalate complex issues when required.
• Maintain accurate service reports, documentation and compliance records.
• Support customer communication and follow up on service matters.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery.
• Continuously develop product and technical knowledge through training.
• Support operational and business requirements where required.
• Travel locally and overseas to support regional customers.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation & Controls or related discipline.
• Exposure to analytical/scientific instruments such as Particle Size Analyzers, XRF, spectroscopy systems or ICP spectrometers is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented with good communication and service documentation skills.
• Able to plan work independently and manage multiple service assignments.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas.
